You can order your repeat prescription in several ways:
Request a repeat prescription online using Systmonline.
You need to register to use our online repeat prescription ordering service. Please speak to one of our receptionists.
NHS Prescription Ordering Direct (POD) – Telephone 01793 683 755. This will connect you to the POD (Prescription Ordering Direct) Team who will deal with your request on behalf of the Surgery. Download this leaflet to find out more about the POD service.
By email: For less urgent repeat prescriptions please email: bswccg.podemergency@nhs.net. You will need to provide the name of your GP practice, your name, your date of birth, medicines required and the name/location of your usual pharmacy. Your prescription will be ready for collection after one week.
Pharmacy: Arrange with a local pharmacy to request and collect your prescription. Prescriptions can be collected from the surgery or at your preferred pharmacy.
We do not take prescription requests over the phone or fax because errors are easily made with this method.
Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)
The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is an NHS service. It gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.
